Mr. C. L. “Red” Shelton, age 74, of Woodville, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Jones (Shelton); sons, Kyle (Megan) Shelton, Clint (Amanda) Shelton, and Kyle (Ashley) Morris; daughter, Carla (Mickey) Taylor; grandchildren, Brandon (Stephanie) Shelton, Sylvia, Worth, Jasper Shelton, Ava and Luke Morris, and Samuel and Courtlyn Taylor; great grandson, Brantley Shelton; sisters, Nita (Wayne) Killingsworth, and Betty (William) Ikard; and a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Red was preceded in death by his father and mother, W. T. and Inez Shelton; brother, Billy Jack Shelton; sister, Jen Little; sister-in-law, Carolyn Shelton.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 21, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at The Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Davis and Rev. Mickey Skipper officiating. Burial will be at Gold Cemetery.
