Mr. C.C. Burns Wright, 73, of Muscle Shoals, passed away Monday, Sept. 23, 2013. His family will receive friends for visitation at Colbert Memorial Chapel today from 5-8. Brother Henry Melton, Brother Mike Nash and Brother Shane Swinney will officiate the service on Thursday, Sept. 26, beginning at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
C.C. was a member of Faith Church. He retired from Reynolds Metals after 38 years of loyal service. He also was a tool dealer with Snap-On/Cornwell Tools for 20 plus years.
He is survived by his wife of 55 wonderful years, Shirley Wright; son, Jeffrey Wade Wright (Carolyn); daughters, Sheila Wright Dugger (Tom), and Kristi Wright (Kevin); grandchildren, Beverly Wright Chandler (Brian), Christopher Wright and Brooklyn Wright; great-grandchild, Chloe Payton Chandler; and brothers, Roosevelt Wright (Wanda) and David Lee Wright.
His family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Warren Crouch and Wes Thompson are honorary pallbearers.
The family wishes to give a special thanks to Dr. Jerry Williams, Dr. Brad McAnalley, and the nurses and full staff of Helen Keller Hospital for the care given to our dear loved one.
