Byron Terry Cofer, age 74 of Good Hope, passed away February 14, 2015, at his residence. He was born February 6, 1941, to parents, Dave and Vollie Knight Cofer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Johnnie Bell Goodwin, Joyce Williams, Patsy Goodwin; and one brother, Ray Cofer.
Survivors include two sons, Vic (Tonia) Cofer and Alan Cofer, both of Cullman; a daughter, Tammy (Joel) Atchison of Littleton, Colorado; one sister, Loyce Smith; two brothers, Ronald and Jackie Cofer; two honorary brothers Kent and Kerry Goodwin; 10 grandchildren, Stacy Pesola, Jamie Borseth, Josh Cofer, Brandy Borden, Hanah Cofer, Michelle Waldrep, Tia Hadden, Levi Montgomery, Samantha and Cooper Atchison; and 10 great-grandchildren.
At the request of Mr. Cofer, there will be no services.
