Burchia Scruggs Milligan, 93, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Friday, September 13, 2013, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. She was a loving mother, grandmother, friend, and neighbor. She was a very talented seamstress, enjoyed music, and visiting with people. Visitation is scheduled for 10 AM until 3 PM on Sunday, September 15 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 3 PM on Sunday, September 15, 2013, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Phillip Logan. Interment will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Pallbearers include Monroe Wright, Martin Wright, Mitchell Wright, Aubrey Harwell, Dustin Garland, and Tyler Garland. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 1 daughter – Betty Wright (Kevin) of Iuka; 2 sisters – Doris Bray and Dudgar Cummings, both of Iuka; 8 grandchildren – Monroe Wright, Martin Wright, Mitchell Wright, Aubrey Harwell, Angie Barnes, Lynette Garland, Kiesha Nash, and Kasey Newcomb; 19 great grandchildren; and 17 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Cleston Scruggs and Kirby Milligan; her parents, Henry and Mary Patrick; her daughter, Patricia Newcomb; her sister, Delma Bonds; and her brother, L.B. Patrick.
