Bulah Mae Garrett Wilson – Obituary

BulahBulah Mae Garrett Wilson left this earthly home on Monday, July 29, 2013 and was reunited with her soul-mate of almost fifty years; two sons, two grandsons; and a host of other family and friends who was all waiting for her on the Heavenly shores. While we will miss her every day, we rejoice in her homecoming.

She was a member of the Russellville Church of God. She was the owner of Northside Grocery in the 1980’s. She was a kind and loving woman who was loved by all.

The visitation will be 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will follow in the chapel at 3:00 p.m. Rev. George Sansbury will be officiating. Burial will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.

She is survived by her daughters, Wanda Wilson Otts, Sherry Wilson Davis; grandchildren, Paul Wilson (Ginger), Anthony Wilson (Dhwani), Jason Wilson (Kim), Heather Tompkins (Josh), Jessica McNatt, Jennifer Otts; great-grandchildren, Lauren Jackson, Weston Tompkins, Matthew Wilson, Mark Wilson, Samantha Wilson, Sarah Dumaual, Oliver Wilson; Alexis Wray, Abigail Otts, Sophia Faris, Danielle Faris; 2 great-great-grandchildren, Rena & Vera Dumaual; special daughter-in-law, Joan Wilson; brother, James Garrett; special cousin, Willa Mae Honaker; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by husband of almost fifty years, William “Bill” Paul Wilson, Sr.; sons, William Paul Wilson, Jr., Michael Dean Wilson; grandsons, Shawn Michael McNatt, Roger Allen Otts, Jr.

The pallbearers will be Jason Wilson, Josh Tompkins, Jake Tompkins, and Chase White.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the ICU nurses at Russellville Hospital for their excellent care of our mother and grandmother.
