Buell Dutton Cansler, age 78, of Phil Campbell, passed away on Friday, May 08, 2026, at his residence.
Buell loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing and just enjoying the outside. He worked for many years as a cabinet installer in the mobile home industry. He loved his family and especially his grandchildren and will be missed by all who know him.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his daughters, Tina Wilson (James), Ginger Wilson (Paul); grandchildren, Keith “Lil Man” Cansler (Kara), Ashley Wright (Kasey), Brian Edgar, Matthew Wilson, Mark Wilson; great-grandchildren, Cheyenne, Natalie, River, Kyler, Trace; and several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Teresa Scott Cansler; son, Buell Keith Cansler; parents Thomas Neal & Pauline (Enlow) Cansler; and brothers, Stanley & Wayne Cansler.
The visitation will be 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. Brian Scott speaking at the service. The burial will follow at Spruce Pine Cemetery. The pallbearers will be friends and family.
