Buddy Pope was born June 13, 1935 in Pontotoc, MS the son of the late Auffie Roscoe and Aire Iota Day Pope. He was united in marriage to Mary Ann Cadorette on July 20, 1957. Mrs. Pope preceded him in death on December 18, 2018.
Mr. Pope departed this life on September 6, 2019 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 84 Years, 2 Months, 24 Days.
He is survived by a daughter, Pamela K. West and husband Houston; a son, Mark Kerry Pope and wife Rowena; a sister, Betty Campbell of Plant City, FL; six grandchildren: Savanah Matlock and companion B. J. Ray, Daniel Mark Pope and wife Sarah, Lauren Ingle and husband Lynn, Rachel Pickens, Mason Pickens, Tracy Keeton and husband Mickey; great grandchild, Izzabella Ray; great great grandchild, Adalyn Ingle.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Pope was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Pope; two grandchildren, Brooke Lauren Pope, Ashley Pickens; a sister, Faye Lollar.
