Mr. Buckey Lee Gray, 43, died Thursday, January 17, 2019 at his residence. He was born on January 12, 1976 in Chickasaw County, MS to Eddie and Virginia Dill Gray. Buckey loved the outdoors especially riding his four-wheeler and bass fishing, and was an excellent mechanic. Buckey had many talents but the one he liked to use a lot was his ability to make the best biscuits. He was known by many as a man that would give his shirt off his back because he really cared for others. He loved his kids with all his heart and he loved his mother in law with great love.
A Celebration of Life service will be at 2 PM, Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Holland Funeral Directors in Tupelo with Bro. Ricky Pierce officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM – service time. Private burial will follow in Center Star Cemetery in Mantachie.
Survivors include his 2 sons, Tanner Gray of Mooreville and Gaige Smithey of Plantersville; daughter, Emma Gray of Plantersville; father, Eddie Gray Sr. of Nettleton; brothers, Eddie Gray Jr, of Mooreville, Marcus Gray of Tupelo and William Gray of Verona. sisters, Mary Allred of Nettleton, Candy Falls (Steve) of Smithville MS, and Mandy Gray of Nettleton., uncle, James Gray of Nettleton; Aunt, Beverly Gray of Nettleton. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Dill Gray.
Pallbearers will be Dewayne Kemp, Christopher Gray. Honorary pallbearers will be Tanner Gray
