Funeral Services for Bruce Mitchell, 54, of Lineville will be Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland with Bro. Terry Moore officiating.
Bruce died Saturday, August 26, 2023 and was a lifelong resident of Clay County. He was a hard worker and spent most of his life in the timber industry. He was a big Alabama fan and kind and caring and a little stubborn. Bruce loved his farm and all its animals but loved his family dearly.
He is survived by two daughters; Brittany Mitchell(Michael Baker) of Ashland and Jennifer Mitchell of Lineville; his mother, Linda Moore Mitchell; grandchildren, Wendi, Teddy, Sawyer, Brantley, Waylon, Gracelynn, Everleigh and Texas(on the way); several nieces, nephews and a large extended family and many friends.
He was preceded by his father, Houston Mitchell and his daughter, Wendi Mitchell.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:30 until 8:00 at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland.
Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville is in charge of the arrangements.
