Bruce Masten Merritt, 65, of Langston, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021. Bruce was an avid outdoorsman, who loved hunting, riding his mule (JD), and riding Harleys with his son and friends. He was very proud of being a longtime Mason and Noble of Cahaba Shrine. He never missed an opportunity to talk with friends and share a good, cold Keystone Light! Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Merritt; son, John Merritt; daughters, Megan and Katie Merritt; and brother, Brad Merritt. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 6:30 Friday, Sept. 17th, 2021, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow at 6:30 with Rev. Coy Hallmark officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cahaba Shrine Transportation Fund. The family requests casual attire and a Harley Davidson shirt.
