“On September 30, 2015 patrol was called to the emergency room at Athens Limestone Hospital about an assault that had occurred at 1410 East Elm Street Apartment C 44. The victim told officers his brother Gary Ronald Graham had come over to his apartment and wanted something to eat. He said he fixed his brother some food and then left his apartment for a short time. He said when he returned his brother was going through his dresser drawers looking for property to steal. After an argument his brother hit him in the eye. At the time the victim didn’t wish to press charges.

In December of 2015 the victim changed his mind about pressing charges in this case. The victim in this case had lost his eye due to the assault. This case was presented to a Grand Jury and they indicted Gary Ronald Graham for assault 2nd degree.

Graham was arrested yesterday afternoon on the Grand Jury indictment. Graham was booked at the police department and transferred to the county jail. “
