HARTSELLE– The Morgan County Police Department along with the Morgan County Drug Task Force made arrests of a brother and sister on Saturday morning, February 6.
Statement from Morgan County Sheriff’s Office:
“Michael Chad Badger along with his sister, Crystal Gail Beaven, both of Indiana, were arrested in Hartselle on Saturday, 02/06/16 for allegedly trafficking Morphine.
The two were located by the Hartselle Police Department during the investigation of a suspicious

vehicle in the median of Hwy 31 near Pattillo St.
Both suspects appeared to be passed out in their vehicle. A subsequent search found the two to be in possession of a large quantity of Morphine.
Badger, and Beaven were both arrested by the Morgan County Drug Task Force for Trafficking in Morphine. The two suspects were booked into the Morgan County Jail with $10,000.00 bonds each.”
