Mo BrooksWASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Mo Brooks (R-AL) issued the following statement on the twelfth anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks.

“This twelfth anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks on America is a time to remember the victims of that tragic day and the loved ones they left behind. It is also an opportunity to honor the fallen first responders, volunteers, and members of the military who fought to preserve American lives on 9/11, and every day since.

“While September 11 will always be remembered as a day of darkness, it will not be remembered as a day of defeat.  Twelve years later, the American spirit of bravery, sacrifice, and hope remains strong.”
