Congressman Brooks said, “Alabama’s 5th Congressional District is fortunate to claim 12 individuals who have been accepted to the U.S. Service Academies for 2014.  We’re averaging roughly twice as many appointees as the other congressional districts, which is a testament to the quality of students and young leaders that we are producing in north Alabama on behalf of our nation.  I’m extremely proud of this class of appointees and their dedication to service of country.”
