Brooke Nicole Kelley, 31, of Florence, passed away, Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Visitation will be Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral service will immediately follow with Jerry Campbell officiating. Burial will be at Murphy’s Chapel Cemetery.
Brooke’s pride and joy is her son, Carter Drake. She gave her life to the Lord at the age of 15. She was a 2012 graduate of Central High School and a 2018 graduate of Northwest Shoals Community College. Brooke took great pride as a nurse in the nursery at North Alabama Medical Center and was a huge Alabama Fan. She was preceded in death by her granddaddy, Windell Borden; and special friend, Blake Irons.
She is survived by her son, Carter Drake Kelley; parents, Wendy and Jason Brown; siblings, Tyler McLaughlin (Tai Ann), Haley Edens (Hunter), and Brinlee McLaughlin; grandmother, Sarah Borden; grandparents, Tommy and Linda Brown; papa, Dale McLaughlin; nana, Cathy Dianne McLaughlin; special uncle, Steven Borden; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Tyler McLaughlin, Hunter Edens, Steven Borden, Chance Borden, Tommy Brown, and Jeff Moore.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to PayPal for Carter Drake Kelley in care of Haley Moore Edens @haleymoore18. It will be transferred to a savings account for Carter.
