Brooke Johnson died Saturday at Millennium Nursing Home after a brief illness. She is survived by her parents, Bobby and Dianne Johnson and Sarah Johnson; brother, Robert Johnson; grandmother, Amie Lee (Dixie) Johnson-Cook. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Orvis Johnson.
Brooke graduated from Grissom High School and received a Physics degree from the University of North Alabama. She was employed as a Systems Engineer for several Defense Contractors in the Huntsville area.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Laughlin Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m Monday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Bryan Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Southside Baptist Church. The family would like to express their thankfulness and appreciation for the loving care given by Gentiva Hospice and the staff at Millennium Nursing Home.
