Brian Eugene Van Buren, 61 of Athens, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Huntsville Hospital. Mr. Van Buren was born October 14, 1958 to Harvey Eugene Van Buren and Donna Marie Van Buren.

Mr. Van Buren was a US Navy Veteran. He was a member of Chestnut Community Church in Athens. He enjoyed going to the shooting range three times a week shooting skeet and sporting clays. He also played golf, loved concerts, attended the Fiddler’s Convention and the Grand Ole Opry. He loved the Lord and had a heart of gold putting others before him.
He is survived by his mother, Donna Marie Van Buren; brother, Gregory Alan Van Buren (Brenda Carol); nephews, Bryce Alan Van Buren (Melinda) and Brett Ashton Van Buren; niece, Alyssa Renae Van Buren.
Preceded in death by his father, Harvey Eugene Van Buren.
