Bretha Mae Gilbreath Amick, 93, of Double Springs entered into rest on February 1, 2014 at Hendrix Health Care.
She was born on November 11, 1920 in Double Springs.
Visitation will be on Monday, February 3, 2014, from 1:00-2:00pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where services will be held at 2:00pm. Burial will follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery. Brother Bill Frank Wilson will officiate.
Bretha is survived by her son, Don Amick and his wife Fredia; daughter, Neta Pope and her husband Lynn and a sister, Plunner Brown. She was “Maw Maw” to six grandchildren, Troy Amick, Ira Amick, Susan Darby, Melissa Belcher and her husband Randy, Phillip Amick and his wife Stacy, John Amick; twelve great grandchildren, Ashley Arrowood and her husband Kevin, Alicia Crim and her husband Nathan, Elizabeth Henderson and her husband Matthew, Joey Belcher, Bradley Amick and his wife Brandi, BJ Amick, Victoria Amick, Michael Belcher, Chloe Darby, Tyler Amick, Will Amick, Garrett Amick; five great-great grandchildren, Hannah Crim, Grant Henderson, Dylan Crim, Kaden Henderson and Isaac Crim. She is also survived by five special nieces, Jimmie Beck, Virginia Crumpton, Yevonne Allen, Debbie Gilbreath and Linda Coronado.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sylva Amick; son, Roger Harlan and her parents, Connor and Tommie Gilbreath
