Brenda Sue Mims Lovett, 75, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at her residence. She was born in Vina, AL to James Washington Mims and Mary Mathews Mims. She worked as a seamstress at Wrangler and attended Hodges Church of Christ.
Services will be Thursday, February 6, 12 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Scott Webster officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, February 6, 11-12 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL. Burial will be in Pilot Hill Cemetery, Vina, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two sons, Anthony Lovett (Lisa) and Shane Lovett; one daughter, Angela Pendergraph; grandchildren, Kayla Lovett, Dakota Lovett (Karli), Ashley Lovett, Lamanda Milard and Andrew Pendergraph and great-grandchildren, Emma King, Seth King, Xavier King, Braden King and McKenna Lovett.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Lovett; her parents, Jim and Mary Mims, two brothers, Raymond Mims and Morris Mims and a daughter-in-law, Angela Lovett.
Pallbearers will be Dakota Lovett and Shane Hudson.
