Brenda McCarter Scoggins, age 68, of New Caney, Texas, formerly of Haleyville, Al. passed away January 30, 2019 at Helen Keller Hospital. She was a nurse and a member of Trinity Baptist Church, San Antonio, Texas.
Visitation is Friday, February 1, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. – 12 noon at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, Al. Funeral service at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel with Steve Turner and Ronnie Marbutt officiating. Burial in Liberty Grove Cemetery, Haleyville.
She is survived by her husband, George H, Scoggins; mother, Delene Bradford; mother in law, Evelyn C. Scoggins; son, Donald Garrison; step son, George Caron; brother, Ronnie McCarter; grandchildren, Javahn, Michael, Caitlin, Breana, Robert and Devin.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Elmer McCarter; brother, Larry McCarter; step father, Hoke Bradford; father in law, George W. Scoggins, Jr..
