Brenda Lee Johnson, 74 of the Union Hill Community of Morgan County, passed away April 20, 2018 at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.
Mrs. Johnson was born March 25, 1944 in Morgan County to Lola Adams. She worked in production at SCI-Sanmina until her retirement in 2016. Her husband William Alvin Johnson preceded her in death in October 1995. She enjoyed gardening and flowers, cooking, joking around and enjoying life. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
She was of the Baptist Faith.
Mrs. Perkins is survived by her son: Jimmy Pogue’ her daughter and son-in-law: Belinda Evans and Daniel; her grandchildren: Emily Hill and Wesley Hill; great grandchild: Areiya Tidmore and her brothers: Jerry Wright and James Hayes. She was preceded in death by her husband: William Alvin Johnson; her parents: Clarence S. and Lola Anders Wright and her sister: Joyce Wright.
Memorial Service will be 6:00 p.m. Wednesday April 25, 2018 at Brindlee Mountain Chapel in Morgan City with Brother: James Harvel, officiating. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel and Brindlee Mountain Chapel, directing.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. Wednesday April 25, 2018 prior to the service at Brindlee Mountain Chapel.
