Funeral Services for Mrs. Brenda L. Hill, age 75 of Lineville, were held on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville with Bro. Steve Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at Valley Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Hill passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at the Clay County Hospital. Born and raised in Randolph County, Mrs. Hill spent most of her life as a mill worker and as a seamstress at Robinson Manufacturing. She was an avid gardener and loved planting and tending to her flowers. She also enjoyed going to the beach, camping, cooking for her family and playing with her great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hill is survived by one daughter, Rhonda Baldwin of Lineville; two grandchildren: Celeste Brown Smith (Patrick) of Ashland and Ariel Baldwin of Lineville; five great-grandchildren: Blake, Emory, Brayden, Bennett, and Leira; two sisters: Betty ward of Tuscaloosa, and Joyce Prater of Heflin; and extended family.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Oscar Jackson Duke and Lena Mae Baker; her husband, Floyd Hill; three brothers and three sisters.
Active Pallbearers will be Patrick Smith, Jake Herren, Heath Brown, Matthew Weathers, Clay Lovelady, and Anthony Bottoms.
