Brenda Clark Kinard Brenda Kay Clark Kinard, age 67, of Phil Campbell, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

Brenda worked for years as a seamstress in the garment industry and then later went back to school and became a cosmetologist.   She also worked for Pilgrim’s as a security guard, where all the truck drivers fondly nicknamed her “Mrs. Smiley”.

The visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon, Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following in the chapel at 12:00 noon.   Speaking at the service will be Bro. Woodrow Taylor.  Burial will be at Belgreen Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Albert & Virgie (Welch) Clark; sister, Glenda “Tootsie” Clark Gann; and daughter, Lorie Clark Hallman.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 28 years, Henry Kinard, Jr.; daughter, Dana Hallman Malone; grandchildren, Kerry O’Neal Hallman, Johnathan Trent Lann, Jade Gann, Brandon Metcalf, Tabitha Malone Stidham, Brock Malone; great-grandchildren, Kendrix, Grady, Eli, Zoey, Allie, Dawson, Skylar, John Daniel; sisters, Linda Everett (Larry), Vernell Morrow (Marvin), Peggy Colburn (Roland), Patty Wallace (Richard); and several nieces & nephews.

The pallbearers will be Justin Gardner, Lucas Colburn, Cory Fuller, Blake Fuller, David Channell, Tyler Williford, and Trent Edwards.  The honorary pallbearers will be John White, David Weeks, and Joe King.

The family would like to extend a sincere thanks to the nurses, doctors, and staff of North Mississippi Medical Center for your love and care of our family.
