Brenda Joyce Wilson, 64, of Tremont, MS, passed away Friday, September 26, 2014, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo after a brief illness. She was born June 17, 1950 in Itawamba County to the late James Gordy Wilson and the late Eva Dell Ledbetter Wilson. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church. She enjoyed growing flowers, working crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with her Jack Russell Terrier named Daisy.
Services will be at the Providence Baptist Church at 4:30 pm on Saturday September 27, 2014 with Rev. Jimmie Lucas and Rev. Lynton Younger officiating. Burial will be in the Providence Cemetery. Senter Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her Brothers: James Robert (Floyce) Wilson of Baton Rouge, LA, John A. (Sandra) Wilson of Tremont, Charles Ross (Mary Helen) Wilson of Golden, Gerald Lee (Jimmie Lou) Wilson of Florence, AL, Lanny Gordon (Becky) Wilson of Tupelo; Sisters: Judy (Lowell) Rogers of Tremont, Shirley Whitfield of Red Bay, AL, Janice (Mike) Shephard of Bartlett, TN, Jackie (Jimmie) Lucas of Tremont; Several Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sister, Helen Stone, brother-in-law, John Whitfield, Niece, Denise Lucas, Nephew, Little John Wilson
Pallbearers will be: Larry Wilson, Michael Wilson, Shaun Rogers, Eddie Wilson, Gordon Wilson, Jeremy Wilson, James Wilson, and Michael Wilson.
