Brenda Gail Pratt, age 73, of Lexington, passed away on April 20, 2026.
She was born on November 19, 1952, in Louisiana to the late Billy and Norma Lindsey Jones. Brenda was a former employee of AutoZone, where she was known as a dedicated and hardworking individual.
Brenda was independent, strong-willed, and remained true to herself through every season of life. A very private person, she found joy in the simple things—her beloved dogs, her grandchildren, and her daily comforts. As she often said, all she needed was “nicotine, caffeine, puppies, and MeTV.” She also had a special love for the movie Titanic, which she enjoyed time and time again.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Winfield “Hump” Pratt, and three sons: William “Perry” Pratt, Kevin Pratt, and Keith Pratt.
She is survived by her daughter, Shellie Earnest, and four grandchildren, Jordan, Terry, and Grace Bartholomew, and Robyn Earnest, who will cherish her memory.
The family has chosen cremation.
Brenda will be remembered for her strength, her steadfast nature, and the quiet but deep love she held for her family.
