Brenda Faye Walker, 65 of Cullman, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025, at her son’s home in Union Grove. Brenda was born February 4, 1959 in Madison County, the daughter of James Thomas Lanier and Louise Lamons Lanier. She was a member of Union Grove First Baptist Church and an avid Alabama fan. She enjoyed watching Harry Potter and collecting Tigger memorabilia from Winnie the Pool.
She is survived by her son: Jeffrey Walker, his wife Sherry and a grandson: Blake; special friends: Jimmie Walker and Mary King; great niece and nephew: MaKenna Lanier and J. T. Lanier. She was preceded in death by her parents: James and Louise Lanier, a brother: Thomas Aaron Lanier.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Union Grove First Baptist Church with Brother Greg Narrell officiating. The burial will be in Oleander Cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel directing. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Union Grove First Baptist Church.
Pallbearers: Blake Willis, Trenton Pritchett, Tommy Henderson and Roger Collins.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers to please make donations to Gober Funeral Chapel to assist with funeral expenses.
