Brenda Faye Lambert, 76, of Courtland, Alabama passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Chris Miller, Mike Owens, and Ben Phillips officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
Born on March 31, 1947, to Rathel and Earline Sandlin Reeves, Brenda was a member of the Hatton Church of Christ. She graduated from Speake High School in 1965. Mrs. Lambert worked at several banks during her working years.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Billy Lambert; three nieces, Laurie Montgomery (Andy), Jill Lovelady (Brad), and Brianna Dutton (Jamie); four nephews, Jared Lambert (Janis), Jason Sims (Serenna), Chad Sims (Angelia); and Bryan Reeves (Casey), one brother, Boyce Reeves; two sister-in-laws, Carolyn Lambert and Syble Sims; and several extended family members.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Rathel and Earline Reeves; niece, Kim Randolph; sister-in-law, Sonya Reeves.
Pallbearers will be great nephews.
