Brenda Faye Evitts Fugate, age 52, of Adams, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at her home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 12pm in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Brother Jake Townsend officiating. Burial will follow in the Bellwood Cemetery with John Roland, Dan Hodges, Daniel, Baker, Phillip Brown, Ed Thomas and Michael Keith serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 21, 2023 from 4-8pm and again on Saturday from 10am until the hour of service at 12pm.
Mrs. Fugate was born November 7, 1970 in Russellville, KY to Mr. Ray Evitts of Springfield and the late, Mrs. Mildred Carter Evitts. She worked as a Nutritionalist for the Robertson County School System and was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.
In addition to her father, Mrs. Fugate is survived by her husband, John W. Fugate; son, John Foxx Fugate; daughters, Daphne Elaine Fugate and Alexia Nicole Fugate; brothers, David Evitts, Donald Evitts, and Roy Evitts; sister, Teresa Evitts Brown; and grandchildren, Gabriel Fugate, Madelyn Fugate, Helen Fugate, and Miguel Fugate.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made the Isaiah 117 House of Robertson County. Any donations may be sent in c/o Austin & Bell.
