Brenda Faye Brown Martin passed away at her home in Hartselle, AL. on June 13, 2020. She was 74.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday June 14, 2020 at 11:00AM at Winston Memorial Cemetery in Haleyville, AL. with Bro. Nathan Carroll and Bro. Mitch Nethery officiating.
Brenda was born in Russellville, Al. in 1945. Her family came to Haleyville, AL. in the 1950’s, where she was Baptized into First Baptist Church in Haleyville. She played clarinet in the band at Haleyville High School, where she graduated in 1964 (Roar Lions!).
Brenda worked in Medicine, Textile, Accounting and most recently from 2001-2018, she was a caretaker in Decatur and Hartselle, a job she was born to do. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Hartselle, AL.
Brenda loved Jesus, her family, and was an avid fan of Auburn Tigers!
Ms. Martin is survived by her children, Lyonel (April) Martin and Trixie Martin (Jonathan Black); her brother, Arthur “Gus” Brown; cousins, Beth Bateman, Dodie Peterson, Greg (Brenda) Melvin and countless extended Family and Friends.
Brenda was Preceded in death by her parents, Gorman and Nollie Brown.
