Brenda Bumpus Brown, 80, of Muscle Shoals, AL, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at her residence. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, bird watching, and reading. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Muscle Shoals. She is survived by her daughters, Donna Brown (Bob Hennessee), Denita Glenn (Rickey), and Lisa Brown Smith (Jason Wallace); her grandchildren, Cooper and Paden Bishop, Cole Jones, Hunter and Bryson Bishop, Leslie McGuire (Andrew) and Crystal Tidwell; 6 great-grandchildren; her brother, Danny Bumpus (Diane); and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy Brown; her parents, Coleman and Frances Bumpus. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, March 29, 2023, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Visitation will continue on Thursday, March 30, 2023, from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Services are scheduled for Thursday, March 30, 2023, at 1:00 P.M., at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Larry Smart. Burial will follow in Sardis Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cole Jones, Cooper Bishop, Hunter Bishop, Bryson Bishop, Rickey Glenn, Bob Hennessee, and Jason Wallace. Honorary pallbearers will be Nicky McRae, Ricky Brown, Nathan Garrison, and Marty Goss. The family wishes to give a special thank you to the staff at Gentiva Hospice and Evelyn Garrison for the love and care shown to Mrs. Brenda during this time.
