Brenda A. Jardine, 60, of Sylvania, Ohio, passed away Tuesday July 12, 2016 at Ebeid Hospice surrounded by her family. She was born Nov. 29, 1955 in Toledo, Ohio to Richard and Barbara Smith Dyer but was always a southern girl at heart. Always a mom first, she lived for her children, but she also owned and operated All Care Durable Medical Equipment in Alabama until 2005. She put her patients first and was a self proclaimed “doctor without a degree.”
Brenda was preceded in death by her father and her stepfather, Dale Duraine. She is survived by her husband, Don, whom she reunited with in 2005 after 30 years of “cold feet”; children, Jeremy (Sarah) Carr, Melissa (Joshua) Flowers, Tony (Joshlyne) Villano and Michael (fiancee’, Annabella) Villano; stepdaughters, Nikki (David) Harris; grandchildren, Caleb, Sawyer, Audrey and soon to be baby girl Flowers; mother, Barbara Duraine; brother, Richard (Nancy) Dyer; sister, Deborah Brown; sisters-in-law, Kathleen (Geoffrey) Armstrong and Isha (John) Jezak; brothers-in-law, Joe (Julie) and Jack (Kim) Jardine; nieces, nephews and cousins; the Bluff Park Crew, Kris and Horace Gardner, Lee and Glenda Greene and Frank and Debbie Gamble; and best friends, Lisa Haskell and Lawanda Osborne.
Friends may visit the family on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee, Ohio where services will follow at 7 p.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers for Brenda, the family asks that flowers be given as a surprise to someone you care for. The family would like to thank Doctor Ronald Wainz, the Cancer Treatment Centers of America, nurses and staff at Toledo Hospital seventh and ninth floors and Ebeid Hospice for their care and compassion.
