Florence Police Department, arrest a father and son, accusing them of drug trafficking. Here is what Florence Police have to say:
“8 Month Investigation Lands Father and Son Behind Bars; Florence Police SWAT, Detectives, and Patrol Officers assisted the Lauderdale County Drug Task Force in the execution of 2 high risk search warrants late Monday. The warrants were the result of an 8 month drug investigation by LCDTF Agents into the illegal drug activity of Stephen Darnell Turner-Johnson, 27, 112 S. Nance Street and St…ephen Darnell Turner, Sr, 3401 Palm Ave. Agents located over 7 ounces of cocaine valued at over $10,000, marijuana, and numerous guns and pills.
Turner-Johnson was booked into the LCDC and charged with Trafficking Cocaine, Unlawful Possession of 
Controlled Substances, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. Turner, Sr, was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substances. In addition to drugs and guns, agents seized over $16,000 US in cash and several vehicles.
Both suspects were released after posting bond.
