Brandy Michelle Taylor Phillips, 44, of Decatur passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Shiloh Cemetery with Bro. Charles Williams officiating. Lawrence Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Born on May 19, 1975 to Danny Steven Taylor and Glenda Mae Herring Taylor, Brandy worked at the Lurleen B. Wallace Center for several years.
Survivors include her husband, Percy Phillips, Jr.; two daughters, Britley Orr and Julieonna Taylor; grandchildren, Ky-Lee Yvonne Morris and Lazzarus Malik Orr; mother, Glenda Taylor; brother, Brooks Slayton; grandmother, Lucy Dean Herring; and uncle, Edward Herring.
Brandy was preceded in death by her father, Danny Taylor.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family extends special thanks to the nurses at Decatur Morgan, especially Candy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your local animal shelter in memory of Brandy.
