Funeral service for Boyd Chasteen, Jr. , 82, will be Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Earl Holt officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Mount Tabor Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 3, 2013 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 AM at the funeral home.
Mr. Chasteen died on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at his residence. He was born January 27, 1931, in Morgan County to Boyd Chasteen, Sr. and Ila Mae (Davidson) Chasteen. Mr. Chasteen was a former School Bus Driver for the Morgan County School System and worked for the City of Hartselle as a meter reader. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and two brothers.

One Daughter: Patricia Simpson, Hartselle, AL
Two Grandchildren: Chris Bomar and Megan Patterson
Three Great Grandchildren: Kobly, Kinley, and Lily
Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
