Boyce “Buck” Nevada Springer, age 89, of Summertown, Tennessee, passed from this life at 8:30 PM on Thursday, February 18th of natural causes.
Buck was born on January 10, 1932, in Grubbs, Arkansas to his father, Grayburn, and mother, Elsie Welch Springer.
Buck was married to Sarah Ezell Springer for a beautiful 69 years. Mr. Springer was a native of Grubbs, Arkansas, and a hard-working, family man. He raised his family on a rice and soybean farm near Weiner Arkansas. He and Sarah moved to Tennessee in 2011 and was a member of the Summertown Church of Christ.
Buck enjoyed bird hunting, fishing, raising a garden, watching basketball, and spending time with his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife Sarah, his son Steve Springer and wife Anna, his daughter Susan McCallum and husband Joe and son Mark Springer and wife Stacey. He was blessed with 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
There will be a “celebration of life” gathering at 2:00 pm on April 24th, 2021 at the Springer’s family farm in Summertown, Tennessee.
Williams Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
