Funeral for Boveene Cantrell Parker, 83, of Moulton will be Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel with Levi Manchester officiating. Burial will be in Montgomery Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Parker, who died Saturday, July 27, 2013, at NHC Healthcare, was born May 4, 1930, in Alabama to Hubert Cantrell and Clara Lou Prance Cantrell. She retired from the U.S. Forestry Service. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Raymon “R.B.” Parker; granddaughter, Ashley Hughes; one brother and three sisters.
Survivors include one daughter, Debbie Hughes and Geary of Moulton; daughter-in-law, Frances Parker of Moulton; four grandchildren, Jason Parker and Kim of Moulton, Rayshell Manchester and Levi of Trinity, Amy Terry and Shawn and Amber Bolan and Blake, all of Moulton; eight great-grandchildren; her dog, Tobie; half sister, Bobbie Patterson of Cullman; and a host of nephews and nieces.
