Deacon Booker T. Washington, 87, of Madison, passed Saturday, June 14th at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born April 17, 1927.
Survivors include his wife, Eliza Washington; two sons, Willie T. (Myrtle) Washington of Athens and James R. (Patricia) Washington of Madison; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 21st, at Mt. Zion P.B. Church with Pastor Mylon Burwell officiating and Royal Funeral Home directing. Interment will be in Ragland Cemetery. Deacon Washington will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.
