Book Signing and Author’s Talk October 27

SHEFFIELD-On Sunday, October 27 the Sheffield Public Library will host two authors who have written a book on the Tennessee Children’s Home Society in Memphis from the 1920’s -1950. This book brings awareness to Georgia Tann’s lucrative career in child trafficking.

Lisa Wingate and Judy Christie wrote the book “Before and After” this book brings awareness to Georgia Tann’s lucrative career in child trafficking at the Tennessee Children’s Home in Memphis.

Tickets will be $15.00 (included hors d’oeuvres) doors open at 1:00PM and program begins at 2:00PM.  Books-A-Million will have copies of the book available for purchase during the program. Tickets are available at the Sheffield Public Library 256-386-5633 and must by purchased by October 25th.
