Bonnie Mae Ewing, 82, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at her home. She was born May 26, 1941 to the late Oda S. Keeton and the late Norma J. Pounders Keeton in Golden. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends, and was a faithful member of Walker Baptist Church. Bonnie loved spending time with family and friends, especially her great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 pm on Friday February 9, 2024 at Walker Baptist Church with Bro. Ray Bennett, and Bro. Clay Weaver officiating. Burial will be in Walker Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 pm – 8pm on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Senter Funeral Home and from 12pm – 1pm on Friday, February 9, at Walker Baptist Church.
Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
She is survived by her son, Benjie (Sheryl) Ewing of Golden; daughter, Karen Nichols of Golden; grandsons, Shaun Nichols of Golden, and Shane (Lauren) Nichols of Red Bay, AL; great grandchildren, Kason Reed Nichols and Darby Mae Nichols; sisters, Linda Tucker of Golden, Marilyn Gasaway of Red Bay, AL, and June Keeton of Fulton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Emzell Ewing; parents, Oda and Norma J. Keeton; infant sons, Vickery Ewing, and Baron Emzell Ewing; son in law, Mark Nichols; sister, Jewel Cromeans; brother in laws, Dewey Junior Cromeans, JE Gasaway, and Eugene Tucker.
Pallbearers will be O’Neal Hammock, Jerry Pruitt, Rickey Ewing, Steve Ewing, Rodney Melson, Grayling Cromeans, Kenney Ewing.
