Bonnie Lou Burnette was born April 6, 1934 in Ramer, TN, the daughter of the late Burton Lawson and Ottie Tackett Jones. She had a great passion for gardening and found joy in nurturing flowers, which spoke to her vibrant spirit.
Bonnie departed this life on February 21, 2025 in Hornsby, Tennessee at the age of 90 Years, 10 Months, 15 Days. Though she has departed from our sight, her memory will forever bloom in our hearts.
She is survived by a son, Melvin Cofer; a daughter, Teresa Busby; daughter-in-law, Brenda Cofer; 12 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Burnette was preceded in death by her first husband, John William Cofer; second husband, Billy Joe Burnette; two sons, John Drexel Cofer and William Jeffrey “Pedie” Cofer.
