Bonnie Hughes Wingard, 69, of New Market, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021.
Mrs. Wingard was a lifelong resident of Madison County. Bonnie served nearly 20 years as a telephone operator for Huntsville’s medical answering services and 10 years delivering The Huntsville Times to thousands of homes.
Married to her husband, Tony, for 39 years, her main focus in life revolved around her family, faith and always making fun memories. Bonnie’s joy pinnacled in the love of her grandchildren, Noah and Peyton, which coaxed her into retirement. Now at rest, the memories Bonnie made with each soul she met will always be powerful testaments of her love for all.
Survivors include her husband, Tony Wingard; daughters, Donna Stamper (Tom) and Harmony Sheaffer (Kyle); and four grandchildren, Ethan and Kloe Stamper, and Noah and Peyton Sheaffer.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 19th from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home. Chapel service will be Monday, September 20th at 11:00 AM with Rev. Anthony Ford officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Morgan City.
