Bonnie Holliman Morrow, age 88, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away the morning of October 5, 2025.
Funeral services will be held at Laughlin Service Funeral Home in Huntsville, Alabama, on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, with visitation from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by a graveside service at Maple Hill Cemetery at 12 p.m. Retired Pastor Rick Stone of Whitesburg Baptist Church will officiate.
Bonnie was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on September 7, 1937, to John Timothy Ebanks Jr. and Wayne Louise. She graduated from Shades Valley High School in Birmingham, AL, and attended the University of Alabama before marrying Charles Dexter Holliman in June 1958. Shortly thereafter, they made their home in Huntsville, Alabama.
Bonnie was an active member of the Piedmont community, participating for many years in the Piedmont Homemakers Group and playing an integral role in establishing the Special Education Program for the State of Alabama. She was also a devoted member of Whitesburg Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir for more than thirty years and occasionally accompanied the group on clarinet.
After several years as a devoted stay-at-home mother, Bonnie began a career as an insurance specialist and scheduler for the dental practices of Dr. Lyldon Strickland and Dr. Wayne Myers.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, David Morrow; her sons, Charles Dexter Holliman, Jr. of Huntsville and Wayne (Kristi) Holliman of Pensacola, FL; sister, Joan Berthon (George) of Birmingham, Alabama; her granddaughters, Leanne (Tram) Walker of Trenton, GA, and Casey Holliman of Pell City, Alabama; and two great-grandsons, Zeke Timothy Walker and Carson Owen Walker.
She was preceded in death by spouse, Charles Dexter Holliman and sister, Betty Lipsey.
