Bonnie Cooper, eighty-five, of Albertville passed away Tuesday, July 22, at Shepard’s Cove Hospice.
Her funeral service will be held on July 24 at Adams Brown Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM in the chapel at Adams Brown Funeral Home. Brother Phil Winningham will officiate her service, and she will be laid to rest at Dekalb Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Kyle Cooper, Brent Jones, Kent Jones, Johnny Smith, Grant Smith, and Adam Smith.
She is survived by her son, Darrell (Leigh) Cooper, a stepdaughter, Shannon Bohannon, grandchildren Jordan (Kevin) Rockett, Kyle (Angelique) Cooper, and Sidney (Will) Colthorpe; brothers Jerry Smith, Danny (Connie) Smith, Jacky (Renae) Smith, Dwight Smith; sister Lisa (Carl) Cooper; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh Smith and Norma Lee Monroe Smith, brother Kenneth (Janie) Smith, sister Woneta (Benson) Jones, sister-in-law Brenda (Jerry) Smith.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital or Shepard’s Cove Hospice.
Arrangements were entrusted to Adams Brown Funeral Home.
