The funeral service for Bonnie Burkhalter Sides, age 78 of Wedowee, will be held on Saturday, December 8th, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville. Burial will follow in the Barfield Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Sides passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at her home.
Mrs. Sides is survived by her husband of 59 years, Warren C. Sides Jr. of Wedowee; one daughter, Stacey Sides Rorie of Durham, NC; two sons: Warren C. Sides III (Bonnie) of Griffin, GA and Tom H. Sides (Terese) of Huntersville, NC; one sister, Carolyn Waller (Brad) of Arlington, TX; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Sides was preceded in death by her parents: Willie Radford Burkhalter and Lamanda Lee Green Burkhalter.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville.
