Bonnie Bean Hogan – Obituary

A Celebration of Life for Bonnie Bean Hogan, 87, will be Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 3:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Hartselle, with Bro. Charles Shaddix officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.  Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens.  Visitation will be Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at First Baptist Church.

Bonnie Bean Hogan slipped peacefully and quietly into the arms of her Savior on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Huntsville Hospital.  She was born  May 30, 1931, in Morgan County to Benjamin Franklin Bean and Mary Wyona Slone Bean.  She was well-loved by her family and friends and will be fondly remembered for her ability to love her children and grandchildren equally and well. She was also known for her love of cooking which she used to extend her gift of hospitality to many. She was a Bookkeeper for the Shelby County Tennessee School System prior to her retirement. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hartselle.

Preceding her in death were her husband: William Howell Hogan, her parents and one son: William Michael Hogan.

Laurie Hogan Lang (Glenn)
Eight Grandchildren:

Lauren Lang (Justin Harrison),
Sara Lang,
Haley Hogan,
Will Lang (Tiffani Lockhart) and
Tori Hogan

Six Great Grandchildren:
Caleb Bundon,
Blakely Bundon,
Eliza Nelkin,
Kennedy Pitts,
Emerson Pitts and
Lydia Nelkin

Several Nieces and Nephews and other family members.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.

The family would like to express our gratitude to Huntsville Hospital 8th floor staff for the compassionate care received over the last two weeks.
