Bonnie Allen Borden Proctor, age 71, of Russellville passed away on Monday, January 06, 2025 at Burns Nursing Home.
Bonnie was from Russellville originally but lived most of her life in North Carolina. She loved her church in North Carolina and all of her friends there. She was a hard worker and loved to joke around. She was a very special woman who took care of everyone, never putting herself first, and had a heart of gold. She was known as Bonnie or Aunt Bon or Bon, but if you knew her, you loved her, and she loved you.
She leaves to cherish her memories, daughter, Michelle Borden; grandchildren, Jennifer Borden, Joey Murray; great-grandchildren, Robbie Seamster, Jayden Seamster, Mila Jade Ramsey; two special nieces, Lisa Cochran (David), Gail Weaver (Robin); brother, Sonny Allen (Sharon); sister-in-law, Dorothy Allen; brother-in-law, James Sons; best friend and sister of the heart, Brenda Cagle; step-children, Susie & Janet Farmer, Horace Borden and Horace Borden, Sr, Becky & Roger Borden. and a host of other friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Tennessee Proctor; daughter, Tammy Borden; grandson, Jeremy Borden; parents, Willie & Lucille Allen; siblings, Oline Pope (Jimmy), James “Buddy” Allen, Nora Ann Sons, Margaret McCaig (Chester); and nephew, Edward Earl King, step-son, Vernon Proctor.
The visitation will be 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 09, 2025, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Robin Grissom speaking at the service. The burial will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
