ETOWAH COUNTY-The Etowah County Sheriff’s Office has issued a BOLO for a missing person. The missing man suffers from PTSD,dementia and schizophrenia:
“Missing Person – Jerry Ray Pennington
Etowah County Sheriff’s Office deputies and other local agencies are searching for a missing person in the Ivalee community, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
Jerry Ray Pennington, 68 years old, was last seen at approximately 11:30 p.m. last night, Friday, August 12, walking from a residence located at 1014 Carnes Chapel Road.
He was known to be wearing a dark blue, short sleeve button up shirt, blue jeans and boots. It is unknown in which direction he may be walking.
Pennington is 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighs 185 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. He suffers from PTSD, dementia and schizophrenia.
Anyone who sees or has any information on the whereabouts of Pennington is asked to contact the Etowah County Sheriff’s Office at 256-546-2825.
A search is currently underway by the following agencies: Etowah County Sheriff’s Office, Ivalee Volunteer Fire Department, Gadsden/Etowah Emergency Management Agency, North Alabama Search Dog Association and A-Med Ambulance.”
