MADISON COUNTY-Sheriff Blake Dorning of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office released a statement concerning the body found at 166 Lemley Drive on Thursday, June 7:
“Sheriff Blake Dorning announced today June 14, 2018 that the Madison County Sheriff’s Office is now conducting a Homicide Investigation in relation to the body located at 166 Lemley Drive, Owens Cross Roads, on June 7, 2018.
The Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences has identified the body, with dental records, as Mariah Feit

Oralia Mendoza
Lopez, H/F, 13yoa. Mariah was a resident of Huntsville Alabama and an A/B Honor Roll student. The child’s grandmother/guardian, Oralia Mendoza, H/F, 49yoa is reported missing through Huntsville Police Department and may be endangered.
Due to the investigation, specific details of the cause of death will not be released at this time, yet we confirm that we are seeking to identify a murder suspect(s).
