Bobby was united in marriage to Mary Evelyn McDaniel on September 21, 2007. He retired from Quebecor. He was the active Pastor of New Hope Baptist Church of Pocahontas, TN. He was a kind hearted person, willing to help anyone. The joy of Bobby’s life was his family.
Mr. Whitten is survived by his wife, Mary Evelyn Whitten of Selmer, TN; his children: oldest daughter, Lori Perry and husband Jimmy of Selmer, TN, Sheila Morelli and husband Sam of Fort Myers, FL, Rickey Whitten and wife Brenda of Memphis, TN; a sister, Joyce McCullar of Bethel Springs, TN; eight grandchildren: Dustin Hamm (Chantelle), Daniel Hamm (Molly), Emilee Perry, Amanda Frazier, Sean Hornsby, Stephen Frost, Dustin Frost and Timothy Whitten; and several great grandchildren.
