She was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Selmer. She retired from Brown Shoe Company. Nell enjoyed crossword puzzles, attending church, traveling, sending time with family and friends. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mrs. Russell is survived by a son, Rickie Joe Russell of Selmer, TN; a sister, Geraldine Gary of Gadsden, TN; two grandchildren, Mollie Russell and Christopher Russell and wife Emily; two great grandchildren, Stella Russell and Andy Russell; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Russell was preceded in death by three brothers: Aaron, Junior and George Gilbert.
